Southern Miss Homecoming

The Southern Miss Homecoming Celebration dates back to 1925, when the first fall Homecoming was held. The week leading up to the Homecoming game is packed with traditions for students to participate in, including: Golden Eagle Challenge, Bring It On Eagle-Style, a day of service, the Fountain Sit and Friday Night at the Fountain. Game Day begins with the annual Homecoming Parade and culminates with the Golden Eagle Football Team in action at the Rock.

Homecoming Parade

The Southern Miss Homecoming parade will travel along Hardy Street and through campus. As one of the university’s oldest traditions, the parade will include floats, the Pride of Mississippi Marching Band, current and alumnae members of the Dixie Darlings, Southern Miss athletes and much more.
