Senate
Senate is the legislative body of the Student Government Association, primarily led by the Senior Vice President. This branch of SGA is tasked with writing bills and resolutions to help bring important changes and improvements to the University. There are various committees within Senate for Senators to select their area of focus throughout their term. They get feedback from students, faculty, staff and alumni on their ideas to improve Southern Miss.
