Senate
The Senate is the legislative body of the Student Government Association and is primarily led by the Vice President. The Senate consists of elected and appointed senators from all academic colleges and the university at large. The goal of the Senate is to serve as the voice of the student body and is tasked with writing legislation that improves the student experience at Southern Miss. Over the years, the SGA Senate has passed bills and resolutions that have brought significant changes to the University.
